"Structural Violence" refers to a society doing damage to a certain part of it's population by design. Since this violence is institutional, no matter how perverse and avoidable it may be, it can be normalized and accepted to suit the needs of those in power. The subject matter on these tracks range from the plight of a marginalized working class on "Filthy", to the deeply ingrained indifference of our domestic population on "Suffering", to a rally cry for a unified front to resist authoritarian power, whether it be public or private, in "The Knife".

Musically, CONSUMED WITH HATRED has always been about doing something fresh. For us this involves bringing the blast beats and aggressive guitar work of death metal and blackened death into a more accessible, explosive and live show-centric framework that hearkens back to thrash and hardcore.

This is our 3rd release, we decided to release it independently, and we hope you dig it. We are currently based out of Baltimore.
